Frequently Asked Questions

How is IVF (tüp bebek) treatment carried out?

In IVF, the ovaries are stimulated with medication, the matured eggs are collected and fertilised with sperm in the laboratory. The resulting embryo is monitored for a few days and transferred to the uterus. The process is planned individually and followed by the physician at every stage.

What are the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)?

The most common signs are irregular periods, excess hair growth, acne, difficulty managing weight and trouble conceiving. Diagnosis is made with an examination, ultrasound and hormone tests. Symptoms can be managed with lifestyle changes and, when needed, medication.

How is endometriosis recognised and diagnosed?

Severe period pain, pain during intercourse and difficulty conceiving can point to endometriosis. Diagnosis is made with a gynaecological examination, ultrasound and, when needed, laparoscopy. Early assessment helps protect both comfort and fertility.

What checks are done during pregnancy follow-up?

Throughout pregnancy, regular examinations, ultrasound, blood pressure and weight monitoring, and blood and urine tests are carried out. Screening tests and a detailed ultrasound are planned at certain weeks. The aim is to monitor the health of mother and baby at every stage.

How often should I have a gynaecological check-up?

Even without any complaints, a yearly gynaecological examination is recommended. It includes a smear (cervical screening) and, if needed, an ultrasound. Regular check-ups allow many conditions to be noticed early.

How can I book an appointment?

You can reach us by phone or WhatsApp, or fill in the form on the contact page. Bringing any previous tests and reports to your visit makes the assessment easier.
